About the deck
The Tembo Deck is the main observation floor of Tokyo Skytree at 340-350 metres, featuring enclosed glass observation galleries, a glass-floored section (Tembo Shuttle), and a wraparound balcony on clear-weather days. The Tembo Deck is the most accessible level of the Skytree experience and receives the highest visitor traffic. Views encompass central Tokyo, Tokyo Bay, the Sumida River, and the older Senso-ji temple district directly below.
The Deck is the entry point for visitors who also want to ascend to the Tembo Galleria at 450m..
The honest take
350 metres puts you level with the tallest occupied floors of many confirmed supertalls. The Tembo Deck is the entry product; the Tembo Galleria at 450m is the upgrade. The glass floor section is the standard engineering trick but well-executed. At $14 USD base, the price-to-elevation ratio is strong.
