Vietnam has one confirmed entry in the Honest 100: Landmark 81 in Ho Chi Minh City (461.3 metres architectural top, 382.7 metres highest occupied floor), scoring 17.1%. The building is Vietnam's tallest and Southeast Asia's tallest by architectural height. The name references the 81 residential and hotel floors. The observation deck at 382.7 metres is also the highest occupied floor - the entire gap between it and the 461.3-metre spire is unoccupied steel.

Buildings ranked by Honest Height - the elevation of the highest occupied floor, not architectural top. The gap is the Vanity Ratio. See the full methodology.

The honest take on Vietnam

Landmark 81's 17.1% score comes from 78.6 metres of decorative upper structure above the observation deck. The building is a residential and hotel tower - most of its genuine height is livable space. The spire is architecture, not function. For a first supertall in a rapidly urbanising city, a 17.1% Vanity Ratio is a reasonable outcome.
